Đất nước phải đối mặt với các loại nguy cơ từ việc tham nhũng lan tràn trong Bộ máy Chính quyền, phát triễn và tồn tại lâu dài dẫn đất nước ngày đến gần bên bờ vực thẳm, tạo nên Xã hội đầy bất ổn và rối loạn trong lúc quyền con người bị Chính quyền chà đạp một cách trắng trợn và thô bạo đó là những vấn đề mấu chốt được cha Pascal Nguyễn Ngọc Tĩnh truyền đạt lại một cách sống động và chân tình không một chút đắn đo, không một chút sợ hãi mặc dù Cha luôn biết rằng hằng chục hằng trăm con mắt giám sát của các nhân viên an ninh và mật vụ Việt Nam vốn được phân công trà trộn vào tham dự Thánh lễ. Bên cạnh đó, Cha Pascal Nguyễn Ngọc Tĩnh còn mạnh mẽ đề cập đến nguy cơ nghiêm trọng nhất mà đất nước Việt Nam đang phải đối mặt đó là hiểm họa mất nước khi Nhà cầm quyền cộng sản Trung Quốc đang ngày càng tỏ ra hung hãn hơn với hàng loạt động thái gây hấn một cách ngang ngược và dã tâm xâm lược Việt Nam ngày càng được phơi bày lộ liễu hơn bất chấp cả việc khom lưng cuối đầu của đàn em cộng sản Việt Nam bấy lâu nay qua việc luôn đội lên đầu bằng 16 chữ vàng và 4 tốt.
Điều đau lòng nhất được cha Pascal Nguyễn Ngọc Tĩnh đề cập trong bài giảng ngày hôm nay đó là lòng yêu nước cao quý của người dân Việt Nam trong việc xây dựng và bảo vệ Tổ quốc đã bị chính ngay chính quyền của mình, và lãnh đạo Nhà nước của mình khinh miệt, giễu cợt và chà đạp một cách không thương tiếc. những hình ảnh người dân yêu nước bị sách nhiễu, bị bắt bớ và ngay cả bị nhân viên an ninh đạp thẳng vào mặt chẳng khác gì đạp vào mặt kẻ thù. Tuy nhiên, trên tinh thần yêu thương theo lời dạy của Thiên Chúa Toàn năng và Nhân từ, cha Pascal Nguyễn Ngọc Tĩnh chỉ kêu gọi và cầu nguyện cho sự đoàn kết và thương yêu lẫn nhau để xây dựng và bảo vệ đất nước, kiến tạo một xã hội công bằng và văn minh trong đó quyền con người được chính quyền tôn trọng, Sự Thật và Công lý được hiển trị mọi lúc mọi nơi. Và điều khiến mọi người chúng ta xúc động và cảm thấy tự hào đó là tâm tình yêu thương của một vị chủ chăn, người không những cầu nguyện cho Công Lý và Hòa Bình, cho sự an bình và thịnh vượng của đất nước, cho hạnh phúc và no ấm của người dân mà còn dâng lời cầu nguyện cho chính cả các vị lãnh đạo chính quyền, những người đang lầm đường lạc lối khi xem cả dân tộc và Tổ quốc như chiếc cầu dẫn họ đến vinh quang và hạnh phúc cho riêng cá nhân, gia đình và người thân của họ.

Đó chính là niềm hy vọng của dân tộc, của tổ quốc trong hoàn cảnh bi đát hôm nay”. Thánh lễ do cha Antôn Lê Ngọc Thanh chủ tế. Cha Pascal Nguyễn Ngọc Tỉnh, dòng Phanxicô giảng. Đồng tế còn có cha Anrê Đỗ Xuân Quế thuộc dòng Đaminh, 4 cha trong tu viện DCCT Sàigòn, hơn 1000 giáo dân. Ngoài ra cũng có một số người không phải là tín hữu Công giáo tham dự.
Trước thánh lễ, cha Giuse Đinh Hữu Thoại thông báo cho cộng đoàn những ý cầu nguyện trong thánh lễ, cụ thể: Cầu nguyện cho các blogger ở Sàigòn vừa tiếp tục bị xét xử bất công. Cầu nguyện cho các thanh niên Công giáo và Tin lành sắp bị đưa ra xét xử tại Nghệ An vào đầu tháng 01.2013. Cầu nguyện cho gia đình luật sư Giuse Lê Quốc Quân. Cầu nguyện cho những nạn nhân của công an, những người bị chết oan. Và ngài cũng nhắc cầu nguyện cho chính những người có quyền lực trong tay đang gây ra những đau khổ cho người khác.

Besides, Father Pascal Nguyen Ngoc Tinh also strong mentioned to the most serious risk that Viet Nam is facing that’s the danger of dehydration when the Chinese communist government increasingly aggressive proved with a series of provocative actions unruly and aggressive malice to Vietnam is increasingly being exposed more openly despite bow down, humble themselves of the junior communist Vietnam for so long by always team up 16 gold letters and 4 good.
The most sorrow that father Pascal Nguyen Ngoc Tinh mentioned in the lecture today is the noble patriotism of the Vietnamese people in the construction and defense country which was right their government, their State leaders who ridicule and trampled mercilessly. The images of patriotic people being harassed, persecuted and even security members kick straight to the face just like the enemy. However, in the spirit of love according to the teachings of God Almighty and merciful father Pascal Nguyen Ngoc Tinh just called and prayed for unity and love for each other to build and defend the country, reviews create a fair and civilized society in which human rights will be always respected by authorities, the Truth and Justice will be reigned whenever and wherever. And what makes all of us touched and feel proud that is the love of a shepherd, who not only pray for Justice and Peace, for the peace and prosperity of the country, for the well- welfare and prosperity of the people but also pray for government leaders, who are misled when viewing the whole nation and the country as a bridge to lead them to glory and happiness of their own, their families and their relatives.
